Bill at Washington State College consists of five digitally recorded oral histories of individuals who attended Washington State College (later, Washington State University) on the G.I. Bill. Thornton used the oral histories as source materials for her 2016 Washington State University honors thesis. The physical collection contains signed permission forms and a summary of the digital collection.</abstract>

  		<p>Claire Thornton graduated from Washington State University in 2016. Her honors thesis titled "The GI Bill at WSC (Washington State College)" passed with distinction. The oral histories include interviews with David and Bernadine Berglin, Eloise Frank, Lenna Harding, Virginia Boettcher, and Orin Swanson. </p>

	 	<p>The Claire Thornton Oral Histories on the G.I. Bill at Washington State College consists of five digitally recorded oral histories and the release forms signed by the interviewees. The oral histories reflect the experiences of each of the interviewees at Washington State College following World War II. The bulk of the collection is stored in MASC's digital archives and is accessible on-site. The physical collection contains the release forms and a brief article on Thornton's work.</p>
