      <p>Thomas Jefferson O'Brien was born in 1866 in Davis County, Utah.  He served an LDS mission on the Northern Island of New Zealand, among the Maori tribes.</p>

      <p>The Thomas Jefferson O'Brien journals consists of O'Brien's journals, kept during his mission to Australasia for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the end of the nineteenth century.
