         <p>Terence Mitchell is a collector and expert on collectible cigarette
		  cards. He is the co-author of "American Tobacco Cards: Price Guide and
		  Checklist," published by Tuff Stuff Publications, 1999.</p>
      </bioghist>
      <scopecontent encodinganalog="5202_" id="a3">
         <p>Collection of tobacco advertising cards and artifacts including
		  tobacco boxes, silks, small rugs, pins and more issued in the U.S. and other
		  English-speaking countries. The cards come in topical series covering many
		  topics such as animals, countries, art, military, Indians, WWI, actors, flags,
		  cowboys, etc. Also includes one reference book written by Terence Mitchell
		  titled "American Tobacco Cards." The bulk of the collection are the trading
		  cards, which largely date from the twentieth century and include both American
		  and international sets. The third series contains other formats of tobacco
		  collectibles including silks, blankets/flannels, and pins. The fifth series
		  contains original tobacco tins and packages.</p>
