The Omega Beta fraternity was founded at Montana State College (now Montana State University) in, Bozeman, Montana on May 14, 1915 as the Anatnom Club. It was the third such organization founded at the college, and changed its name to Omega Beta in the fall of 1915 after the faculty lifted a ban on Greek letter organizations. The Omegas eventually owned their fraternity house on 302 South Willson Street. As early as 1932, the Omega Betas petitioned for a charter as a local chapter of the national Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity, but the process was not complete until 1939, when the organization became the Zeta Triton chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa. An apartment complex was constructed on the S. Willson location in 1968, suggesting the chapter had relocated sometime previously. The chapter was active until 2009. In the fall of 2024, the formal process of reestablishing the Zeta Triton chapter at Montana State University was begun.

Snapshots show members engaged in campus activities, picnics, involvement with other organizations such as the Les Buffons Club and the Montana State College (MSC) football, basketball, and baseball teams. Formal portraits of some individual members of the fraternity, as well as group portraits, are also included. Some members serving with the United States Army during World War I submitted photographs for inclusion, as well. Selected buildings on the MSC campus, and in the city of Bozeman, Montana, are present. The photographs were not placed in chronological order within the album, with images from several different years appearing on some pages.
