         <p> Antonia "Toni" Bohan, the retiring Director of the Everett Contract
		  Administration Office of Service Employees International Union, Local 925
		  Former president of SEIU Local 120, which merged into Local 925 around 2001.
		  She collected this material as a Service Employees International Union delegate
		  to the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations
		  (AFL-CIO) convention that elected John Sweeney president of the in 1995.</p>

         <p> Printed ephemera, an audiocassette, buttons, and a convention
		  delegate badge, 1995. The material documents the links between locals of the
		  SEIU and their Internatinoal union in campaigning for Sweeney's election at the
		  convention. Delegates played a key role in "whipping" the crowd up, lobbying
		  for Sweeney with other delegates, and building support for Sweeney on the
		  convention floor.</p>
