There is a marriage certificate, news clippings about the Ransom Clark cabin, and receipts and surveys. This collection, which dates from 1857 to 1974, also contains estate lists and payments, a bill of sale, and other materials related to the personal and financial life of Ransom Clark.</abstract>

         <p>Ransom Clark was born on July 22, 1809. He died on May 24, 1959, leaving behind Clark Cabin, now one of the oldest standing homes in the Walla Walla area.</p>

         <p>The Ransom Clark Collection consists of a copy of his marriage certficate, news clippings about the Ransom Clark cabin, and receipts and surveys. This collection, which dates from 1859 to 1974, also contains a claim work statement, anestate list and payment, a bill of sale, and accounts delivered by Mrs. L. Clark. Also included are a promisary note, the land claim and deed, the history of Clark Cabin written by Charlotte Reynolds, and the J.J. Reynolds Monument dedication.</p>
