         <p>Henry Katsuji Hashitani (1886-1952) was born in Japan. He came to the
		  United States in 1905 and began working on the Fujii farm in Idaho. He married
		  Takako Yawata in 1914 and the couple had four children: Alice (Yoshiko),
		  Raymond (Aizo), Roy (Ryoge) and George (Kenichi). The family eventually settled
		  in Nyssa, Oregon.</p>
