      <p>This collection contains the financial records for individuals applying for bank loans through the First National Bank of Logan, Utah, from 1901-1909. The ledger contains roughly 600 entries, which represents approximately 5% of the population of Cache Valley in 1900. Each entry lists the applicant's marital status, age, assets, and liabilities. Applicants are primarily male and live in both Cache County, Utah, and Franklin County, Idaho. </p>
      <p>The ledger has had the binding cut off so that it is currently loose leaf and placed in folders. </p>
