      <p>Materials relating to the Oregon State Hospital, collected by Reta Rahn Musgrave when she was a nurse there. These include black and white photographs of the grounds, buildings, and staff, many of whom are identified. Other materials are: surgical department statistics on the types and number of surgeries, examinations, and other procedures performed in the 1938-1940 biennium; a 1940 inventory of surgical and operating room furniture and supplies, with costs; a reprint of an article on syphilis from the journal Northwest Medicine; and ephemera.</p>
