				and character of the Seattle Sephardic community. The second is more detailed
				and emphasizes Rabbi Maimon's family background. Maimon is Rabbi of Sephardic
				Bikur Holim, Seattle. The interviews also discuss the congregation and the

				2006. Rabbi Maimon discusses his family's immigration to Seattle from Turkey in
				1924, his development as a rabbi, and his career at Sephardic Bikur Holim
				synagogue. Maimon describes his time at Yeshiva University, influential rabbis
				and professors, and his involvement in the Syrian community in Brooklyn. He
				then discusses his transition to, and time at, Sephardic Bikur Holim synagogue,
				specifically his challenges, fellow rabbis, and the summer camp that he
				initiated. Also described are the customs of circumcision, weddings, and ritual
				divorce. Maimon's activities post-retirement are discussed at the end of the
				interview, including his remarriage, brief move to Israel, and the founding of
