		  and obituary of Ebba Dahlin, an Assistant Professor of History at the
		  University of Washington, Seattle</abstract></did><bioghist encodinganalog="5450_" id="a2" altrender="sync"><p>Ebba Dahlin was born in 1896 in Baku, Russia, and moved to the United
		  States with her family at the age of eight. She received her A.B. in History
		  from the University of Washington in 1919, followed by an M.A. in 1922. She
		  then went on to receive her Ph.D. from Stanford in 1927. After receiving her
		  A.B., Dahlin served as an Associate in History at the University of Washington,
		  then in 1922 as an Instructor, and in 1929 she became Assistant Professor of
		  History. Dahlin left the University of Washington in 1936, when she moved to
		  Sweden. She died in 1956 in Stockholm.</p></bioghist><scopecontent><p>Correspondence of Ebba Dahlin, both incoming and outgoing, primarily
		  with Edmond Meany, chair of the History Department at the University of
		  Washington. Also includes a typescript of her obituary from the
