Five-piece silver tea service presented in 1907 to Mr. and Mrs. John Middleton by the members of the 1907 University of Idaho football team. John Middleton, head coach, led the team to one of the most successful seasons in Vandal history.

Engraved on the platter are the words: “To Mr. and Mrs. Middleton by Football Team ‘07” and the scores of the games played that season against the University of Oregon, University of Washington, Whitman College, and Washington State College. The initial “M” is engraved on the pitcher, creamer, sugar bowl, and waste bowl.
