Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Adam Roth Singerman received a Jacobs Research Fund grant in 2014. He focuses on documenting, describing, and analyzing Tupari, an understudied and endangered language spoken in the Brazilian state of Rondônia. Economic and social pressures discourage the Tupari from maintaining their language and traditions. His work aims to assist indigenous educators in producing literacy and pedagogical materials

Adam Roth Singerman earned an MA in Linguistics in 2014 and a PhD in Linguistics in 2018 from the University of Chicago.
