The Office of Student Financial Aid administers federal, state, and private financial aid programs to help students pay for their education. Assistance is offered in the form of grant aid, scholarships, long-term loans that must be repaid after leaving school, and work opportunities. The Office also administers a short-term loan program for full-time students who find themselves in temporary financial difficulty without having to apply for financial aid. The Office of Student Financial Aid is one of several units that together form the larger administrative division of the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.
