Historical NoteReturn to Top

From 1990 to 2004, The Evergreen State Society served as a center for civic initiative and a resource for nonprofits through printed publications, Internet postings and websites, conference presentations, discussions, and meetings. The Society provided opportunities for career development and networking; organized leadership conferences and observances of Nonprofit Service Month; operated two websites and an online forum for announcements and discussions related to nonprofit work; and published newsletters, papers, and an overview of nonprofit organizations in Washington state.

In 2004, the programs and activities of The Evergreen State Society transferred to the Executive Alliance, which also worked on behalf of the nonprofit sector in Washington state.
