Content DescriptionReturn to Top

One album/scrapbook containing 310 black and white and color photographs and postcards. It appears to depict the activities of the family of George W. and Sue Miller Feldmann from about 1920 to 1948. Included in the album are are informal snapshots from family outings, many to the coast including trips to Seaside, Oregon; family memorabilia marking family occasions; and business ephemera from the Fuller Paint Co. George Feldman was also a hunter: included in the album is an article about an "albino bruin" that he and a friend shot in eastern Washington in 1937. (This was a white bear, whose meat was said to resemble "wild fowl".) There are additional photographs of deer and bird hunting in unidentified locations. Also included are photographs of a hunting and business trip taken by George Feldmann for the Fuller Paint Company to Alaska in the summer of 1937, including images of float planes.
