Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Maurice A. Robkin joined the UW Department of Nuclear Engineering in 1968. He was professor in that department until 1993. He was also professor in the Department of Environmental Health, the position from which he retired in 1997. Robkin taught classes chiefly relating to nuclear energy and radioactivity. His primary research interest was radon. Among his major publications was "Indoor Radon and Its Hazards" (UW Press, 1987), which he edited with David Bodansky and David R. Stadler.

The teaching materials document some of the courses Robkin taught at the UW Department of Environmental Health. Almost all of the research materials relate to his radon studies.
