In 1908 the Forest Club was established to promote interest in forestry at UW and in Pacific Northwest. It is one of the oldest and longest running student clubs at the UW.
Today, the Forest Club promotes camaraderie, collaboration and communication among students, faculty, and alumni of the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences by organizing social and academic events. (2014)

Scope and Content: Minutes, constitution, reports, correspondence, visitor register, scrapbooks, memorabilia, and photographs, 1910-1981 Scrapbooks include clippings and photographs detailing initiation announcements from Xi Sigma Pi, the campus forestry fraternity; academic and honorary awards; participation in campus and intercollegiate athletics, especially the crew teams; annual Garb Day activities, and general publicity concerning the club's members and events.
