Audio recordings and transcripts of 35 interviews with Chinese American immigrants. These materials were the basis for the book,Voices of the Second Wave: Chinese Americans in Seattle: oral histories of 35 Chinese Americans who immigrated 1934-1968. Sometimes called the "lost generation," this "second wave" of immigrants was comprised of Mandarin-speaking Chinese who came to North America between 1934 and 1968. The interviews were collected by Dori Jones Yang in 2009 and 2010. Interviewees include: Jiu-Fong Lo Chang; Kuei-sheng Chang; Chen Shi-Han; Maria L. Koh; George Koo; Peter C. Ku; Sophia Ku; Agnes Lee; Conrad Lee; H.F. (Hsiung-Fei) Lee; Shiang-Yu Lee; Winnie Lee; Winnie Y. Lee; Paul Bao-Ho Liao; Hua Lin; Lillian Lin; Jung-Tai Lin; Lensey Namioka; Julie Pai; Kenneth Pai; Yih-Ho Michael Pao; Jack Peng; Tzy C. Peng; Dennis Su; Millie Su; Harold Tai; Joan Tai; C. C.
