Gloria Madeleine Mellesmoen is a phonologist and historical linguist who as of 2019 is a PhD candidate at the University of Bristish Columbia in the department of linguistics. Mellesmoen received a BA in Linguistics and English in 2015 from Simon Fraser University and an MA in Linguistics in 2016 from the University of Toronto.

This collection includes digital recordings of ʔayʔaǰuθəm (Comox-Sliammon) field recordings as part of the project "From Sounds to Meanings: Further Explorations in ʔayʔaǰuθəm" and the final research report submitted to fulfill the requirements of receiving Jacobs Research Funds.
