Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Osman Ismen (1952-) is a composer, conductor, and musician from Istanbul, Turkey. He earned a degree from the Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration in 1973. Immediately after this, he started his professional music career as an orchestra conductor. In 1978, he published his first studio album titled Diskomatik Katibim. During his career, he has published twenty studio albums, arranged a large number of songs for other artists , and founded the Osman Ismen Project to promote jazz music.
