Engineer and professor of engineering, University of Washington.
Harold E. Wessman was born in 1899. Professor Wessman also taught at New York University. He was the dean of the College of Engineering, University of Washington, 1948-1968. The professional associations and boards of which he was a member were: American Society for Engineering Education; American Society of Civil Engineers; Seattle Fire Chief Selection Committee, 1963; Seattle Garbage and Refuse Disposal committee, 1963-1964; and the U.S. Navy Educational Requirements Advisory Board.
