Content DescriptionReturn to Top
A majority of the collection delves into Siletz education, particularly courses taught by Vic Bucy in 1979 and 1980, including Native American Studies and Native American History. Bucy led courses and programs at Siletz High School and the Siletz Indian Vocational School. Materials include syllabi, copies of quizzes and final exams, and class activities. Syllabi and lecture notes from related courses are included.
Restoration materials include Siletz Tribal Council testimonies at Senate hearings, articles, and correspondence. A secondary focus is Siletz fishing and hunting rights, which include newspaper articles and a sample wildlife management plan created by the Klamath Tribe.
