Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Benjamin F. Beezley was born on September 3, 1875. He was the oldest of three sons born to Edward E. Beezley and Sarah Cossairt. He lived in Falls City, Oregon where he worked as a teacher and dealt in real estate. He also worked with the timber industry locating timber. He made a study of the forests and knew where the best timber could be found which was of assistance to potential buyers of logs. He had a successful business that in 1902 he associated with Zimri Hinshaw. Beezley was a Republican, and was a fraternally prominent member of the Eastern Star, the Blue Lodge, F. & A. M., the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the Modern Woodmen of America, and the Grange.
