Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Terry Amidei was born in Illinois and was active in the theater. He became a video artist. In the 1990s he was an Artist in Residence at Little City Chicago, Illinois where he created "Somties the Metro Bus Doesn't Stop for Me". Amidei moved to Seattle in about 1986. He died in September 1996.

Some of the productions are "The Sciences and Art," "Sometimes the Metro Bus Doesn't Stop for Me," (a film about paraplegics) and "AIDS and Death." Includes documentation of Northwest events such as the Gay Pride March and Rally, 1990.
