Historical NoteReturn to Top
The Center for Disability Policy and Research (CDPR) is an off-campus research institute within the Department of Health Services in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine of the University of Washington. The mission of the Center is to shape disability policy and service delivery through policy analyses, research, surveillance, training, and dissemination. The Center issues reports and publications related to CDPR projects that aim to examine the effect of disability legislation, public health policy for disability, and therapeutic treatments on social and health outcomes for people with disabilities. Many of the projects are undertaken with funds supplied by the Washington State Division of Developmental Disabilities and other regional and local health agencies.
