This collection consists of 6 scrapbooks with pasted news clippings, spanning the years 1922-1958, covering a variety of subject matter related to medical practice and education in Oregon, including articles on activities at the University of Oregon Medical School (UOMS) and Multnomah County Hospital.

Volume 1 (1922-1924): Includes clippings on Emily Loveridge, Tuberculosis, Multnomah County Hospital, Mills Open-Air School, S.E. Josephi portrait, dedication of Mackenzie Hall, child health, Shriners' Hospital, Richard B. Dillehunt, animal research, and cancer and radium as cure.

Volume 2 (1924-1928): Includes clippings on the Medical Arts Building, Doernbecher Hospital, Veteran's Hospital, milk ordinance, C.S. Jackson obituary, Sam Jackson Park, Portland's standardized hospitals, R.C. Harrington pen and ink drawings of Portland hospitals, Shriners Hospital, Grace Phelps, A.E. Rockey obituary, Tuberculosis, Dr. and Mrs. Linus Bittner in tropical islands, and S.E. Josephi.

Volume 3 (1928-1937): Includes clippings on Olaf Larsell, Veteran's Bureau Hospital, Outpatient Clinic, Coffey and cancer, Ernest A. Sommers' 3,000 book donation to the UOMS Library, UOMS hospital, Ray Matson death, murals by Darrel Austin, Shriners' Hospital, Doernbecher Silver Tea, Brunkow/Barbara Stobie teratoma case, Clarice Ashworth Francone, Edwin E. Osgood, University Tuberculosis Hospital, and Richard B. Dillehunt.

Volume 4 (1938-1940): Includes clippings on Richard B. Dillehunt, Clarice Ashworth Francone, Good Samaritan and St. Vincent Hospitals, and plans for the new UOMS Hospital and Tuberculosis Hospital.

Volume 5 (1941-1944): Includes clippings on physicians, medicine, and the UOMS during World War II.

Volume 6 (1921-1928): Includes clippings on the University of Oregon Medical School Library.
