Biographical NoteReturn to Top
The Norwegian Hospital Association was founded by Marie Lund in 1913. In 1922, the Norwegian Hospital opened at 3515 Woodland Park Ave N. in Seattle, but permanently closed in 1927. The Association continued following the closure of the hospital, and throughout its existence worked to benefit many local institutions, including the Norse Home, North West Harvest, and the Children's Orthopedic Hospital. The Norwegian Hospital Association disbanded in 2004.

Constitution and Bylaws, hospital plan, meeting minutes, correspondence, membership pamphlets, certificates of appreciation, newsletters, donation lists and related documents. Also includes tax documentation, event invitations, newspaper clippings, membership dues, documents related to 70th, 75th, and 90th anniversaries, scrapbook, and seal press.
