Paul Stephenson Fetzer (1923-1952) was an anthropology graduate student at the University of Washington from 1948-1951. He died before completing graduate work. His materials were dispersed after his death.

Fetzer was married to Lucia C. Bastasch.

The Ethnomusicology Archives has analog reel and CD copies of the seventeen records in the Fetzer Collection. These disc recordings contain Coast Salish songs, stories, and narratives; they were recorded in October, November, and December 1950. Records 1-8 and 10 appear to be duplicated by records 9 and 11-17.

May 31, 2011 - compiled content of records 1-8 and 10 onto 3 compact discs (2001-5.1-3 CD).
