Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Frank Bonds, the first child of Jesse and Mary Bonds, was born in Texas in 1890. His family moved to Bellingham, Washington, in 1899 and to Sumas in 1902. Frank's younger brother and sisters were Mary, Fred, and Lorene. Frank Bonds attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, as well as the University of Washington. His youngest sister, Lorene, married Lawrence J. Zillman, professor of English at the University of Washington.
