Summary:The collection consists of home movies made between 1937 and 1964, and it focuses primariliy on the Western region of the United States. It contains footage of national parks and landmarks, notable events (such as the Golden Gate International Exposition), and local happenings. Historic figures who make an appearance include actor Harold Lloyd, first lady Eleanor Roosevelt, and 1948 Progressive Party presidential candidate Henry Wallace.A subset of films in the collection contains footage of traveling circuses and the sideshows that accompanied them. The circus-themed films include footage of several notable performers, including: Betty Broadbent, one of the most photographed tattooed ladies; Ken Maynard, a Hollywood actor and stuntman; and Clyde Beatty, a famous lion tamer who went on to lead his own circus.

Summary:16mm home movies consist of Eigil and Robert Buschmann, descendants of Peter Buschmann, founder of Petersburg, Alaska. The film reels depict locations in southeast Alaska, Puget Sound, southwest United States, and at family homes in Zenith and Seattle, Wash. and Vancouver, B.C.. Scenes include fishing and packing industry operations at various canneries owned and managed by Eigil Buschmann (1886-1963). Scenes include color aerial views of Ketchikan, Hidden Inlet, Prince Edward Island, Waterfall, Hydaburg, Sitka and Juneau, and footage of southeast Alaskan landscape and wildlife.

Summary:Collection of video dance sculpture includes works from the "By Herself", "Concepts", and "Dance" series; dance animation; video sculpture; documentaries; and promotional materials. Posters document film showings and sales for Table For One, the Chelsea, and Full Circle. Artwork includes prints of variations on multi-colored discs, a water color of a city sky line, a design for sculpture, and test work for Dance Frame video. Photographs include images of many of Chase's paintings and early work with sculpture. Also includes a set of biographical features detailing Chase's artistic career and inventories detailing the numerous repositories with holdings from her collections.
