Summary:Tape recorded interview, covering the years ca. 1930-2000, summary and transcript, and photographEdith Horn describes her childhood in Nazi Germany, and her family's escape to Cuba in 1939. She talks about their immigration to the United States later that year, their time in Miami and New York, and their arrival in Seattle in 1940. Edith describes her school experiences at Temple de Hirsch during the Second World War, as well as joining Junior Hadassah. She talks about her marriage to Werner Horn in 1952 at Herzl Synagogue, and her involvement in the Brandeis group of Hadassah as well as her service for the Mount Scopus group, Jewish Family Service, the Association for the Jewish Disabled, and Congregation Beth Shalom.
