Harold Tascher was a professor of social science at the University of Montana-Missoula from 1933 until 1970. He was active in many social programs throughout the state of Montana and helped start the Institute of Indian Affairs at the University in the 1950s. This collection relates to his teaching social work and his efforts with social welfare organizations.
