The Dallas Eklund Papers includes correspondence, reports, and clippings relating to regional environmental issues from the 1950s through the early-1990s, including the creation of the Great Bear Wilderness.

Summary:Robert Sand is a social and environmental activist who was involved in the movement that resisted placement of Experimental Missiles (MX), later called Peacekeeper missiles, in silos in Montana and other western states in the 1980s. This collection contains materials he collected related to the arms race, nuclear disarmament, MX placement, and community organization around these issues.
