Summary:The Big Blackfoot Milling Company was a timber company based in Missoula, Montana. The forty-seven volume collection contains minutes, organizational and financial records of the Big Blackfoot Milling Company, and financial records (1882-1890) of the various sub-groups which were predecessor and successor businesses of that corporation.

Summary:The Rankins were a Missoula, Montana, family with a mill business. The collection includes a broad range of John Rankin's financial records, 1888-1906; speeches and clippings of Jeannette Rankin from 1916-1941, her 1940 congressional campaign, and a Report of International Congress of Women, 1919; and Wellington Rankin's 1946 campaign and two Montana Supreme Court cases, 1925 and 1941, in which he served, respectively, as attorney for the plaintiff and attorney for the defendant.
