From 1947 to 1957 the Fort Missoula Faculty Housing Organization was a housing project designed to accommodate the faculty and staff at Montana State University (now the University of Montana) in Missoula, Montana. The collection consists of a written history of the housing project as well as financial documents and records produced by the Fort Missoula Faculty Housing Organization.
This collection contains correspondence, class materials, and research files of H. Duane Hampton. Hampton was a professor of western history at the University of Montana in Missoula from 1965 until his retirement in 1992.
