The Noel de Nevers papers (1970) contain his essay, Suggestions for Outsiders Moving to Utah--A Purely Personal View. This five-page typed document is a commentary on the social environment to be expected by an outsider (non-Mormon) upon moving to Utah and experiencing what it is like to be a minority group member, perhaps for the first time. The essay offers suggestions for adapting to living in Utah with the least amount of friction.
The John A. Farrell scrapbook contains clippings from the series "Utah: Inside the Church State" by John A. Farrell published in the Denver Post in 1982; reprint of the series published by the Denver Post in 1983. The series examined Mormon beliefs and doctrines, discrimination against non-Mormons in Utah, and the level of political and economic control exercised by the Mormon Church in Utah. Farrell was a reporter for the Denver Post.
