The Parley Pratt Nelson papers (1899-1903) contains a photocopy of a manuscript entitled A Simple Autobiography of the Life of Parley Pratt Nelson. Nelson (1875-1946) was born in Utah as the fourth of eight children. Nelson graduated from Snow Academy in Ephraim, Utah. In 1904 he entered the University of Maryland Physicians and Surgeons (P&S) Medical School in Baltimore, Maryland. The manuscript primarily deals with Nelson's ancestry and the mission he served for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in South America.
The Willard Dale Rees papers (2005) contain a listing of tape recordings that he donated. He collected the recordings while serving as a missionary in the West Spanish American Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1962 to 1964 and then following his mission through 1970.
