The Ronald E. Poelman papers (1984) consist of an original and corrected version of a speech, entitled The Gospel and the Church, he delivered in the October 1984 General Conference of the LDS Church. Poelman was a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy at the time of the speech.
The Darell D.Thorpe papers (1976-1987) are composed of manuscripts, notes and research relating to Thorpe's writings on theology and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). Also included is a manuscript of a short-story, "The Last Resort," that Thorpe wrote as an adolescent and a manuscript outlining LDS theology by David L. Charlesworthy. Darell D. Thorpe was an LDS missionary in California during the 1980s and hosted a radio talk show. The focus of his research explored relationships between the occult and popular music and critiqued challenges to LDS religious beliefs.
