The Nichiren Buddhist Temple records (1954-2003) contain correspondence, financial reports, membership records, the church newsletter, and other documents pertaining to the Nichiren Buddhist Temple. The temple (which dates from 1971-1991) was operated in Salt Lake City by Yosh Ito and Reverend Kanai Skokai. There were more than two hundred members, a large percentage of whom were Japanese Americans.
The Salt Lake Buddhist Church dedication program (1962) is titled, "Dedication Ceremony of the Golden Anniversary Memorial Service" (March 17, 18, and 24, 1962) of the new church building of the Salt Lake Buddhist congregation. The scrapbook (1962-1963) is titled, "Special Articles for New Buddhist Temple Building" and consists of various newspapers and a drawing.
