Summary:The Louise Degn broadcast journalism audio-visual collection (1969-2007) consists of news stories and documentaries reported or produced by Degn during her career as a television journalist, producer and documentary flmmaker. The majority of the material was filmed for local television stations in Salt Lake City, Utah. The collection also includes important broadcasts in the history of Utah and Utah broadcasting. Louise Degn is an award winning broadcast journalist and educator and a member of the Univeristy of Utah Communication Department faculty.

Summary:The Elizabeth and Jimmy Miklavcic independent film and dance collection (1984-2012) consists of dance related experimental films and documentaries based in the Salt Lake City area. The collection includes recordings of "InterPlay," an annual broadcast of concurrent music, dance and poetry performances taking place in cities around the world. The Miklavcics are live performance professionals and educators and founders of the Another Language Performing Arts Company. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

Frank O'Rourke papers

Summary:The Frank O'Rourke papers (1893-2007) contain correspondence, research notes, pamphlets, brochures, short stories, articles, reviews, news clippings, and manuscripts. O'Rourke was a twentieth century sports, western, suspense novelist, author of over 60 novels, and wrote under pseudonyms Patrick O'Malley, Frank O'Malley, and Kevin Connor as well as under his real name.

Summary:The Richard Wright Young papers are composed of drawings of three generations of Salt Lake City architects: Joseph Don Carlos Young, George Cannon Young, and Richard Wright Young. Some books from the library of Edward Partridge Young are also included. Included are personal and business records, correspondence, appointment books, and drawings done by each architect.
