Summary:This collection contains research materials on German prisoners of war held at Fort Douglas, Utah, during World War I used by Raymond K. Cunningham in the writing of his M.A. thesis. Includes reports of inspections and complaints filed with the Swiss and Swedish Legations as well as depositions regarding events at the camp. Also includes three reels of microfilmed federal records from the Dept. of State and the FBI on the subject of German prisoners of war.

Summary:The William Lange papers (1980-1991) contain Utah Republican party fund raising and campaign materials, including correspondence, flyers, pamphlets, and pins; correspondence, meeting minutes, and clippings of the Utah Military and Veterans Affairs Committee, mostly concerning Fort Douglas; some business correspondence of Sandberg-Lang Associates. Lang served as a foreign service officer in the U.S. State Department. He was a Republican party activist in Utah and a member of an international management and marketing group called Sandberg-Lang Associates.

Howard Campbell Price papers

Summary:The Howard Campbell Price papers (1893-1943) consist mainly of correspondence and ephemera from his tour of duty in France during World War I. The collection includes a set of maps incident to the campaign of the Meuse-Argonne. Colonel Howard Campbell Price was the Commander of the 360th Infantry Regiment of the 180th Texas Brigade of the 90th Texas Oklahoma Division during World War I. Colonel Price's career also included a tour in the Philippines, and he commanded Fort Douglas from 1927-1931.
