The Russell L. Bragg papers (2001) contain Bragg's written memoirs of Camp Kearns in Kearns, Utah. Bragg was stationed at Camp Kearns for military duty in 1946, and had many fond memories of this assignment post and Salt Lake City. He returned to Camp Kearns and Salt Lake City in October 2001, but he tells us that it was disappointing to see how the area had changed.
The Camp Kearns records (1944-1946) consist of a scrapbook detailing the activities and events that took place in daily life at the camp. Camp Kearns was an Army Air Base that was established during the Second World War. It operated from 1942-1948.
