The photographs in this collection document a few personal moments with the immediate family of Walter D. Bonner, who was a professor of chemistry at the University of Utah. Most of the images show the Bonners out of doors engaged in hiking, touring, or camping. A small part of the collection deals with an unidentified experiment.

Primarily letters sent by the Bonner children to their parents describing life in the Depression, World War II, and postwar years. Includes some correspondence between Walter Bonner and his wife and between children. Walter Bonner was a professor of chemistry at the University of Utah.
