Summary:The Henry O. Fortin Scrapbook contains dance cards, theater programs, sporting event programs, ticket stubs, "spirit" ribbons, and objects such as a beanie, pocket handkerchiefs, and a hat cord, most collected by him while he was a student at Montana State College. Several pages of signatures and brief testimonial comments from fellow USGS workers from 1926 through 1930 are included. The scrapbook also contains a few letters, including one personally signed by then U.S. Secretary of Commerce Herbert Hoover and another by U.S. Congressman John M. Evans. A student essay based Fortin's personal experience growing up in rural Montana, "The Hunt," is pasted into the scrapbook.

The photographs are either images of the building themselves or of drawings. The diaries are day records of Elmer F. Link. The office files document the day to day operation of the firm, mostly for its Billings office. The project files are records specifically related to the buildings the firm was commissioned to design and construct.

Summary:The Henry F. Keyes Photograph Album and Diary contains snapshots and journal entries taken by Keyes taken during a hike through southwest Montana. The album contains images of the steamship North Land, Mackinac Island, the North Dakota Badlands, Bozeman, Bridger Canyon, Gallatin Canyon, Lone Peak, Virginia City, the Red Rock valley, Sawtell's Ranch at Henry's Lake, Upper Geyser Basin, and Lake Yellowstone. People pictured are Keyes and his companions, Edward C. Alderson, Jack Bean, and Felix G. White. The diary entries make note of the scenery, the content of his meals, and even the time of day when certain described events occurred. Many of his fellow students are mentioned, and geographic details and wildlife sightings recorded.

Summary:The Nick Lyons collection includes the corporate documents of Nick Lyons Books, Lyons and Burford, and Lyons Press in the form of legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and proposals. Original editorial manuscripts and galleys of books published by Lyons Press are included as well as assorted Lyons catalogs. In addition, this collection includes original rough drafts, with notes and hand written editorial notations, of books, articles, and columns written by Nick Lyons for publications including Fly Fisherman Magazine, Field and Stream, and the New York Times. Also contained in the collection are ephemera, photographs, and artwork.

Summary:The Omega Beta Photograph Album consists of photographs taken between 1916 and 1923. Snapshots show members engaged in campus activities, picnics, involvement with other organizations such as the Les Buffons club and the MSC football, basketball, and baseball teams. Formal portraits of some individual members of the fraternity, as well as group portraits, are also included. Selected buildings on the MSC campus, and in the city of Bozeman, are present.

Summary:The Agriculture Photograph collection includes photographs, nitrate negatives, safety negatives, and glass plate negatives created by or collected by M.L. Wilson. Images in this collection pertain to agricultural subjects and projects studied 1901 to 1945 at Montana State College. Image subject include: alfalfa, barley, clover, corn, grain, grass, wheat, sunflowers, thistles, and vegetables. Other subjects include: demonstration and field days, experiment stations, farm machinery, farmsteads, dryland farming, tillage, harvesting, erosion, livestock, rural life in Montana, and pot tests. Of particular interest are numerous images of "big hitch" teams, horse-drawn implements using eight or more teams of draft animals for power.
