Collection includes copies of recordings from the personal collection of Daniel Amponsah ("Koo Nimo"), copied for the Archives at his request during his residency at the University of Washington's Ethnomusicology department, 1998-2000.
Footage of Koo Nimo and his ensemble Adadam Agofomma in performance at festival; includes drum/dance ensemble, palm wine group, and interview with Koo Nimo. Recorded at the 50th National Folk Festival, Lowell, Massachusetts; donated to Archives by Koo Nimo (copied from his copy).
DVD copies of 6 VHS tapes from Koo Nimo's personal collection, copied for the UW Ethnomusicology Archives at his request, January 2012. Videos include performances of palm wine music, interviews with Koo Nimo, and documentaries on palm wine guitar music.
