Mainly business and personal correspondence relating to agriculture and agricultural machinery. Business correspondents include manufacturing, distributing, or finance companies. Personal correspondence includes letters from friends and relatives, letters concerned with land usage problems, and correspondence with WWI patriotic groups. Also includes loan applications, irrigation papers, receipts and drafts, and legal documents; personal papers, drawings and other material concerning Cox's inventions (including his patent on an improved steam generator); materials dealing with Cox's participation in an agricultural extension project of the Utah State Agricultural College, (1922-23); and program of events (1921), lecture notes, and correspondence from the Manti Ladies Literary Club (5 items).
This collection is comprised of nitrate and glass plate negatives taken by W.H. Hopkins. The photos are categorized according to the location in which they were taken. Photograph locations include Alta Ski Resort, American Fork Canyon, Bingham Copper Mine, Brighton Ski Resort, Boulder Dam, Provo, Salt Lake City, Southern Utah sites, Timpanogos, University of Utah, and photos from an outing of the Wasatch Mountain Club. W.H. Hopkins was a Salt Lake City dentist and an avid amateur photographer.
