Summary:The H.B. Calfee Stereographs of Yellowstone National Park consists of views of Yellowstone National Park showing natural features such as geysers, rock formations, and watercourses. "The Enchanted Land; or, Wonders of the Yellowstone National Park," are images Calfee produced while also promoting his magic lantern lectures. "Views of the Wonderland; or, Yellowstone National Park," are perhaps Calfee's earliest images, made while he still resided in Bozeman.

Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Barry Goldwater, and Montana Governor Hugo Aronson.

Haynes Family Photographs

Summary:The Haynes Family Photographs are comprised of photographs taken by F. Jay Haynes (FJH), Jack Ellis Haynes (JEH), and others during the period 1866-1969. The photographs are portraits, candid snapshots, Haynes Inc. (HInc), Haynes Picture Shops (HPS), and Haynes Studios Inc. (HSInc) photographs, and other images covering a very diverse subject matter. The vast majority of the photographs are concerned with friends and family of the of the Haynes (FJH and JEH) and Yellowstone National Park (YNP). Additionally, there are also "Cabinet and Boudoir" photographs taken by FJH as the official photographer of the Northern Pacific Railroad (NPRR) and many photographs, numbered and unnumbered, in Haynes family photo albums. Additional images include artwork prepared for Haynes brochures, artwork by illustrator Fritz Schlanze, photos of paintings by W.H. Jackson, an extensive collection of reproductions of paintings by C.M. Russell sold by HInc and HPS in YNP, and other artwork and photographs related to the area surrounding YNP and the West in general.

Bernice K. Koch Scrapbook

Summary:The Bernice K. Koch Scrapbook consists of a scrapbook kept by Koch during the summers of 1931-1934 documenting her experiences as a Yellowstone "savage," the popular nickname given to seasonal workers in the park. The scrapbook contains pictures, an autograph book signed by other Yellowstone savages, a letter from a fellow worker, and memorabilia.

Gene Quaw Collection

Summary:The Gene Quaw Collection consists of a autographed tribute album, some printed items, and 106 black and white photographs taken of Quaw, his band members, and friends in Yellowstone National Park, most of which are circa 1921-1922. The printed materials in the collection consist of a copy of Yellowstone, along with a mimeograph lyric sheet for the song dated March 4,1947, a business card for Quaw as pianist for the "Lone Star Trio" at Old Faithful Inn, and a program for a formal recital at Mammoth Hot Springs, September 11, 1921. The original hand carved wooden cover for the autographed tribute album has been retained with the collection.

Summary:The Mary Jane Russell Photograph Album chronicles the Harry T. Sanger party's vacation tour beginning in Detroit, Michigan and moving through the Western United States. These pictures cover Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. Assorted destinations include Lookout Mountain, Colorado Springs, and Pike's Peak, and Yellowstone Park.
