Summary:The photographs in the collection were used or intended to be used in the magazine and consist of faculty and staff portraits, departmental photos, building projects, student artwork, athletics, speakers, USU alumni, events and scenes at Utah State University, Aggie supporters, and student affairs. Some of the photos are historical images made from existing Special Collections photographs.

Summary:888 photographs and negatives, mostly from the early 1950's, that were taken for publication in the Utah Juniper. Included are images of students, faculty, research projects, field trips, and a variety of student activities from the forestry school. Also included are images of the USU forestry camp buildings, summer camp, campus buildings, forestry club activities, Logan Canyon, and the Cache National Forest. Most photographs in this collection correspond with the 1952, 1953 and 1954 issues of the Utah Juniper.

Summary:2,842 photographs that document the history of Utah State University from roughly 1890 to 1990. Nearly every major aspect of USU is covered by these images including student activities, athletics, building projects, departments, graduation, classroom scenes, the library, extension and experiment station activities, and university staff and faculty. The images show the evolution of the University from the Agricultural College of Utah with nine faculty members and 139 students when classes first opened in the fall of 1890 to a modern, research institution. Photos are mounted onto 2,024 archival poster boards.
 
Collection Title:Utah State University student activity photographs

Summary:398 black and white photographs, depicting a wide variety of student activities on the university campus and in the city of Logan, Utah. Most of the photographs were taken in and around the Student Union (later named the Taggart Student Center). Photographs include various student-sponsored dances (including student committees and advertisements), talent contests and other student musical and theatrical performances, homecoming activities, art exhibits, international student displays, winter carnival, and publicity photos of various professional acts who performed on campus. The publicity photographs represent a wide range of talent of the era, including recording artist and Broadway actor Josh White, Jr., folk singers Bob Gibson and Ruan Mackinnon, comedian and civil rights activist Dick Gregory, jazz pianist Vince Guaradi, and modern dance artist Barry Lynn.

Summary:The Utah Statesman Photograph Collection consists of mostly black and white prints and 35mm negatives of various activities relating to Utah State University. Inlcuded are images of sports, student activities, buildings, USU faculty and staff, and special interest. Miscellanouse and special interest images include: Romney Stadium, Special Olympics, and the Utah Jazz. The USU Statesman is a student-run campus newspaper.
