The collection contains strictly photographic materials from the mid 1980's through the late 1990's. The collection consists of 170 folders of photographs, contact sheets and negatives. The folders are arranged (in original order) alphabetically by the department or subject documented at OHSU. The photographs, contact sheets and negatives are primarily in good condition, ranging in various sizes from 5 x 7 to 9.5 x 12 inches. The images were taken by staff photographers at EdCOMM likely for promotional purposes.

Summary:The Joseph Kantor Collection contains a 14 x 18 inch volume of A Clinical Atlas of Venereal & Skin Diseases including Diagnosis, Prognosis & Treatment by Robert W. Taylor, M.D. from 1889; The Edinburgh Stereoscopic Atlas of Obstetrics, edited by G.F. Barbour Simpson, M.D. and Edward Burnet, M.B. with a preface by Professor Sir J. Halliday Croom, M.D., and The Edinburgh Stereocopic Atlas of Anatomy, edited by David Waterson, M.D.; and a stereoscope. Both Atlases consist of 7 x 9 inch cards, each with descriptive information and stereoscopic slides. A stereoscopic slide is made up of two photographs placed side by side and creates the illusion of a singular image with depth when viewed through a stereoscope. These items were a part of Dr. Joseph Kantor's personal collection.

Summary:The Western Pine Association formed in 1931 with the goal of setting uniform grade standards for lumber. The newly formed association grew out of a merger of the Western Pine Manufacturers Association of the Northwest and the California White and Sugar Pine Association. The association’s president in 1931, S. V. Fullaway, Jr., oversaw the 75 mills that made up the newly formed group. The Western Pine Association Records include the business papers, reports, industry publications, and legal case files of the organization.
